Wilkes-Barre High School Talent Search enjoyed a beautiful day at Penn College of Technology on April 9, 2024-learning about careers in Emergency Services & some even got to sit in a Black Hawk Helicopter!
Our Talent Search Students at GAR Middle School worked on the background designs for the UPcycle Fashion Show in the after school program. Come to the Show on April 27th starting at 1:30 pm. Location: Marketplace at Steamtown (Lackawanna Avenue, Scranton). Event is free & open to the public.
- Educational Opportunity Centers of PA & North Penn Legal Services held a very successful Clean Slate Event on March 12, 2024. Success by the numbers:
- 168 people registered for the event
- 72 people attended the event from that list
- 21 students from Wilkes-Barre Area with 1 chaperone attended
- 10 information tables with approx. 2 per table=20
- 42 people requested an appointment
