This exciting Program is presented thanks to a supplemental grant from the United States Department of Education TRIO Programs. This program allows us to expand current programming to our Educational Talent Search students in our Target Schools.
Includes:
-5 field trips
-STEM Interest Inventory
-Opportunity to earn College Credit via CLEP testing
-Exposure to professionals in STEM Careers
-College Classes

Science Day at Geisinger School of Medicine on Dec. 9th-our students will be diagnosing cancer
Technology Day at Luzerne County Community College is Feb. 17th-our students will be doing hands-on lessons with welding, CNC Machining & 3D Printers
Engineering Day at Wilkes University-our students will explore engineering disciplines
Math Day is at Misericordia University is April 8th-our students will explore real world math careers like Computer Science and Economics
Busing is provided to and from the colleges, lunch is included.
A trip to Philadelphia with:
-a visit to the Franklin Technical Institute
-Touring colleges: Drexel & Temple
-Cheese steaks
-lots of fun!
Busing and all meals are provided.
